Nutri Curl is the heart of the protocol on 4B to 4C hair: fifteen minutes of sitting time at every wash, with detangling done only during that window, never dry. Condi Curl then seals the hydration in, morning and night if needed.
Less than a conventional shampoo, and that is deliberate. Sulphates produce abundant lather by stripping the hydrolipidic film — exactly what textured hair does not need. Hydra Curl gives a fine, supple lather. On hair heavily loaded with styling products, a quick second wash is enough.
Nutri Curl is a repairing mask: it sits for 5 to 15 minutes on towel-dried hair, then rinses out. Condi Curl is a leave-in: it stays in, goes on damp or dry hair, and is there to hydrate, detangle and define the curl day to day. The two are complementary, not interchangeable.
Because Hydra Curl is sulphate-free, it does not speed up colour fade. On relaxed or chemically treated hair the fibre is more porous and needs more nourishment, which is where Nutri Curl earns its place. After a recent treatment, do check with your hairdresser as well.
It is formulated to stay light, but dosage is everything. On a fine or wavy texture, a hazelnut-sized amount is enough, applied to the lengths and scrunched by hand. On a kinky texture you can do the opposite: apply it strand by strand, in a generous layer.
All three formulas are developed and manufactured in France, in a laboratory, with 96.5% to 98% ingredients of natural origin depending on the reference. They are free from sulphates, silicones and parabens, and 100% vegan. Every batch is traced and dated.
